Overall the idea of this app is good but the game designers need to revisit the costs to build programs - in general, hacking a target is less rewarding than it costs, and building your network involves several obnoxiously long timers, obviously designed to push you to pay their premium currency to avoid. It is extremely easy to run out of resources to the point where you can't even play within the first half hour of play. Not as fun as I think the designers expected it to be.

I played this a long time ago and came back to it recently, so I couldn't play my old environment well even if I wanted to. They say you can reset your environment by deleting your nodes, but many aren't removable, and you can't de-upgrade them or roll back your attack programs. They say you can do a full reset with a process that involves them restoring purchases on the backend, but that did not work, and I haven't heard back on it. Apparently they've never heard of save slots or profiles -_-

Thanks for contacting us David. Save slots and profiles have been intentionally omitted, as we want players to hack other player networks, and don't want to make it easy just to retrace and loot your own networks! I am sorry to hear that your reset/restoration didn't go as smoothly as hoped. This should now be resolved - please email us if not!

Its a great game. I liked the overall game play of it. Except for one thing: the wait times are some times ridiculous. And I do definitely wish there was a feature that could allow the player to attack his/her network to test the security and not lose any of the programs you built to test your own security. But other than that great game.

Hi. Network admins, both real world and in-game, will need to deal with taking nodes offline. In Hackers, upgrading nodes also serves to add a potential security flaw to the networks of your hacking targets! Be sure to make the most of these upgrade timers when attacking other players, and use Building Threads to upgrade your own nodes ASAP!
