FindTaxi - Taiwan Taxi Finder

If you are in Taiwan and ever take taxis, you need this app. It makes it way easier and way safer to get taxis. I had so many shady taxi drivers before, but since this app offers some accountability with the rating system that you can see when you pick your driver I haven't had any problems. I've gotten a lot of wonderful drivers through this app. You can also reserve a taxi in advance very conveniently, and can specify certain requirements for a driver (English speaking, non smoking, etc)

Great for English users. Easy to find taxis or private hires. Has options like "non-smoking" car, pers friendly etc. The app will send out your requests to the drivers nearby and let you choose the driver. Met a driver in taichung, rounded up the fare conveniently without telling us upfront saying its short distance and he has to open the boot for us. Didn't on his meter. Didn't help with the luggage also. Remember still confirm the fare before boarding.

Great app. One of few that is offered in ENGLISH. Often when there are no ubers in remote times/locations,they're still around somewhere. Easily navigable even without instructions. I LOVE that the taxi can be scheduled. I LOVE that, unlike uber, the option of adding multiple locations without having to schedule them is there with the driver because the meter is running. All the cars I've been in are well kept and clean with some extras. Driver differ but no complaints.
